A beer brewed by or under the supervision of Trappist monks. There are 7 Trappist
monestaries in the world that brew beer, and only these may label their goods as
'Authentic Trappist Products'. Of the seven, six are in Belgium and one
is in the Netherlands. Rules for usage of the 'Authentic Trappist Products'
logo are set by the
International Trappist Association
(ITA).
